Title:
Forgotten, Lost and Found
Creator:
Nabarra-Piomelli, Amandine
Description:
A tunnel book in the form of two parallel accordions supported by six frame-like panels. Pigmented digital prints on Japanese mulberry paper. Digital image tipped onto clamshell box exterior. Special new edition of 20. Issued in case. Artist's statement: "Forgotten, Lost and Found is a book of photographs that represents thoughts and feelings, scenes of vivid memories or forgotten experiences. The images inside the tunnel have warm tones of red and yellow which suggest a happy ending. Whereas the stories on the sides of the tunnel have cool tones, green and blue, which represent the issues that haven't been resolved in life-searching, doubting, and forgetting. The tunnel structure allows for the intertwining of these three aspects. The depth of the book reminds us of the passing of time."
