Artist's book designed to evoke a tree trunk, with nine poems about trees by different poets. Circular book with 10" diameter; 11 pages stacked on a wood base via a dowel in the middle. Colophon [leaf 12] tipped on wooden base. Circular wooden magnet closure to dowel. Numbered. Signature of artist letterpress printed on colophon. The 12 circular leaves of the book have blind embossed rings like a tree trunk. The leaves consist of the title page, nine poem pages, one permission page, and the colophon. Colophon: "Letterpress printed on the 1889 Chandler & Price platen press while keeping an eye on the Divide as winter moves from 2019 to 2020. Printed on Crane's Lettra double-thick cover stacked on a wood base. The typefaces are Gotham by Tobia Frere-Jones and Bickham Script by Richard Lipton. Limited to an edition of 15."
