The Worm Turns
Creator:
Forbell, Charles
Description:
Half page cartoon. The phrase the worm has turned has several meanings. One is that even the lowliest worm will turn on its attacker. More recent interpretations are that a situation has changed. Life magazine covers were on a variety of topics. Each issue had a theme that was introduced by the cover and reflected throughout the issue. This was the "Christmas Number."
