Abstract:
This thesis explores the role of Motion Media in emerging display technologies, emphasizing
three classes of display types: auto stereoscopic, multiple perspective and transparent. Both the
underlying technologies and visual perception are explored to better understand the design
limitations of each technique. Focus is placed on the application and design of motion media for
these displays, while considering the content creation workflow and potential implementations of
each display type.
