Abstract:
"The world of animation offers different ways of pushing storytelling through fight sequences that might be more difficult to achieve in live action. Character hit reactions and attack follow through's can be shown for a longer period on screen since no real people are getting hurt. Referencing live action camera techniques is still vital to grounding an animated fight sequence. Successful live action fight scenes utilize a variety of camera moves and tricks to keep the audience engaged and immersed. The animated film 'Boba Battle' will blend animation's unique advantage of limitless possibility and established live action cinematography to form an emotional and exciting narrative." --Abstract
