Abstract:
"Chinese culture has more than 5,000 years of history, so many classic literary works exist. Nowadays, a lot of classic myth stories have been adapted into films and TV series. Chinese countries like China and Taiwan focused more on atmosphere and stories, while other countries like America focused more on incredible visual effects. The old saying goes: 'Fine clothes make the man/Fine feathers make fine birds.' The saying applies to the movie industry as well. A good story is vital, but harmful visual effects and animation give the audience a poor experience. This project utilizes 3D tools to make a better 'Hou Yi Shoots the Suns' of more extensive scale, realistic, and high quality. For instance, combining live-action shooting with CG scenes, high-end and detailed particles and smoke visual effects." --Abstract
