Abstract:
“According to a survey by Kelton, more than 21 percent of families have purchased three or more strollers for just one child (2013). The main reason is that babies grow so fast that parents cannot find a stroller that fits baby’s demands in different age stages. It results in the need for more money and space occupied. Thus, the thesis will focus on offering a baby stroller design that can meet the different demands of babies at different age stages. Also, explore the possibilities of reassembling strollers to provide more interactive and playful features. Baby stroller is constantly evolving based on the market’s demands. Nevertheless, the primary purpose is mobility which never changes. However, babies’ needs are diverse. The reason why there is a large group of babies refusing to stay in a baby stroller is that they prefer to walk by themselves even though they are not able to walk. Therefore, the thesis will also offer a baby stroller design solution to refine the value of a baby stroller. It is not only for mobility but also can be a learning tool for a baby to start walking.” –Abstract
