“This thesis rehashes the creative process used for my performance in my thesis short film ‘500 Dollar Funeral,’ written by Jacob Beecher inspired by a skit written by Mike Nichols. It will present the use of the combination of the Meisner methodology and Uta Hagen methodology elements along with other techniques used to aid me and my performance, such as text analysis and character work.” –Abstract
