Abstract:
"The field of motion graphics embodies graphemic expression through the manipulation of text and generation of abstract calligraphic forms. Reaching back through history to touch upon historical traditions of pre-language visuality in the creation of visual poem videos, title sequences, and media art. Asemic works, and those that feature fluctuating states of asemisis, visually deprive the viewer of immediate semantic gratification to transcend established notions of language derived from the presentation of the Latin alphabet, forcing the viewer to draw from internal experiences and generate meaning of their own volition." --Abstract
