Abstract:
"This thesis is a direct comparison between analogue film-making and digital film-making from 2013-2023, a time that resembles the rise of digital cameras and the downfall of celluloid film in cinema history. Within these 10 years of revolution, digital cameras and celluloid films had both compete and led each other to their current development stage. As of the year 2023, celluloid film holds a strong advantage over the aesthetic aspect of film-making which refers to the color rendering and texture of the image. On the other hand, digital film-making brings in the technical revolution that greatly reduced the cost and improved the efficiency of every aspect of film-making, including pre-production, on-set production, and post-production." --Abstract
