Abstract:
“This thesis focuses on how reproductive rights and body autonomy are presented in film and television. The thesis seeks to understand how the portrayal of reproductive rights in media has evolved throughout the years, and how the political conversations of body autonomy has affected its place in film and television. The thesis also contains the first episode of a limited series that aims to unpack female autonomy during three different time periods in American history.” –Abstract
