“Set in the forested India of the Pre-historic times, Ramayana is a legendry tale of love, power, dharma (religion), recited by Maharishi Valmiki. It narrates the life of Rama, an arduous path during his exile. In this historical tale, emotions play a vital role to unfold the story. This thesis will study Navrasas – the nine emotions: love, laughter, sorrow, anger, courage, fear, disgust, wonder, and tranquility, significant in Indian culture to depict the story of Ramayana utilizing CG Environment. The use of myth, iconography, and symbolism will guide to shed light on the importance of documenting Indian Mythology through digital media. Likewise, help to convey how emotions could bring attention to enrich the environmental storytelling of the film.” –Abstract
