Abstract:
"In an era of instant information, many traditional arts have been forgotten by the Chinese people. People are attracted by newer art forms. This project will be based on traditional Chinese shadow puppetry, using animation, cinematography, and three-dimensional scenes to show the art form of shadow puppetry, and to introduce the charm of shadow puppetry to the new generation. This animation book will discuss the history, current situation and methodology of shadow puppetry, then apply them to the pre-production and final visualization of Chinese shadow puppetry within the vehicle of an animated short film." --Abstract
