Abstract:
"This thesis proposes the design of a themed dining destination in Grand Central Park, New York City with the goal of creating a celebratory space that fosters intercultural connection. This setting aims to allow visitors to learn about various cultures through their cuisine, customs, history, and architecture to appreciate differences while recognizing commonalities. In addition to creating these shared experiences, this thesis aims to create intimate experiences through which guests can relate to and identify a shared humanity through food–associated memories and narratives." -- Abstract
