"This thesis paper will analyze James Cameron's early life and his work in the field of motion pictures, primarily, focusing on his use of visual effect technologies. In this paper, we will walk through the initial journey of this renowned filmmaker and further highlight his popular movies, which are alluring and are one of a kind for their time. Through these movies, we will understand the impact that using new techniques has on storytelling. These movies have been picked diligently to analyze the visual effect technologies, techniques, and processes. His work has not only impacted the entire motion picture industry, but also the lives of aspiring filmmakers who are inspired by such great works of art. This paper will delve into the discussion about the use of these technologies helps as a tool for better storytelling in motion pictures." -- Abstract
