Abstract:
"The main chapters of this research are divided into three sections. The first chapter delves into the rich history and origins of Arabic calligraphy as an art form, demonstrating the universal principles that are represented across civilizations. It also outlines the most important characteristics, styles, and structural elements that serve as the foundation for developing a
calligraphic medium that can be applied to any medium. It draws attention to the emotional and expressive quality of Arabic calligraphy, as well as its legibility and intonation, among other things. Arabic calligraphy is discussed in the second chapter, which also introduces and connects motion theory and principles to it. Finally, in the third chapter, I will analyze and discuss the practical aspects of the research visual project." -- Abstract
