Abstract:
This thesis project is proposing that instead of seeing the negative impact that humanity have cause in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador as a tragedy, which it is, resident from the islands (colonos) need to think that the current situation is an extraordinary opportunity to learn from mistakes. The colonos need to learn from the past and start looking for a change. Recognizing the problem is always the first step to any transformation. Perhaps this is the last chance that the Galapagos residents have the opportunity to be educated about their ecosystem before they destroy it all.
