Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the relationship of toys in stop motion animation, as well as their
influence on the creators. The aim of the thesis, and its corresponding film The Dream of Ore Magi (2012), is to demonstrate that creating stop motion is an extension of playing with toys, and viewing the finished film is reminiscent of that same imaginative play.
