Abstract:
"In China, mobile payments via mobile devices prevail in today's business scenarios, such as 'shopping malls, restaurants, and roadside stalls'. All daily necessities, including residential rent payments, clothing, and wearable accessories, can be obtained with simple mobile payments. Fueled by the profound changes nurtured by the Internet, mini-programs within the gaming industry and e-commerce have cultivated many payment options with transferable fees included. The author of this thesis desires to be a future game developer. She wants to explore art as it relates to people's lives in a thought-provoking and interactive way. Participants in the proposed game can learn substantial knowledge via the game's interaction and engagement. Teaching children basic money concepts via conventional education methods is considered a less effective method, like teaching math (Deyun Wang 3). This thesis proposes using an educational game as an educational tool to help children from ages six to twelve years form their monetary values in a positive and proper manner." --Abstract
