Abstract:
"The purpose of this thesis is to study and discover the sound in Monster Horror and Paranormal Horror films, including the process of sonifying cinematic monsters and paranormal creatures. It also details the importance of sound in horror films in creating an atmosphere of fear, suspense, restlessness, and anxiety to the audiences. Two of my horror projects will be introduced for the detailed designing process."
