Abstract:
"In the 21st century, we are still plagued by oppressive groups who make life much more difficult for the oppressed. It is unfair, cruel, and unnecessary, and many groups are severely impacted by the discrimination they face. As visual artists, we have the power to help change this through our art and art practices by being inclusive. This thesis will discuss exactly what is 'inclusivity' in current times, who and how oppression affects, how artists need to be aware of it, and how we can move forward in a positive direction, within the avenue of the Comic Convention Artist Alley, along with other artistic practices."
