Abstract:
"Music and illustration are two important forms of art. These two forms of art reflect the real world. Music is an abstract art. Countless artists have focused on visualizing music from ancient times to the present. Illustrations have unique methods in expressing abstract ideas, such as emotion and illusion. An artist visualizes music abstractly and expresses the environment and atmosphere of classical music. In addition, the thesis analyzes the process of music visualization by visual artists, which highlights the characteristic of drawing in expressing music. There are various ways of expressing music in a visual language, which are effective in musical promotional pieces. In today's society, people are increasingly attending various kinds of music festivals and concerts. Advertisements and package design are needed in the music market. Thus, how to expand the importance of music illustration according to the change of market is very important. Furthermore, music promotional pieces are also increasingly turning to digital form. As a result, visual communication needs to innovate and develop to meet these requirements. There are many ways to express music in painting; each of these ways is a choice that an artist makes. Therefore, the study of the possibility of each choice can provide some reference for painters to create classical music-related themes in the future. This thesis will explore how to create a musical feeling with visual language and put the music visual language into the market."
