Abstract:
"In this era, most people are busy at work with lots of pressure, which decreases the quality
of life for them and causes problems such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Therefore, this
paper will research how to adjust interior design to reduce stress for doctors in hospitals. Doctors
are high-achievers and perfectionists who work in a world where it is difficult to accept failure,
and most of them are reluctant to ask for support. As a result, the hospital should take care of the
doctors, as well as, the patients. Currently, most of the research is about how to create a hospital
that patients will want to visit; however, doctors caring for patients deserve to be well taken care
of. Also, maintaining the overall health, mental and physical, of doctors is a strong way of
attracting more patients to the hospital. A hospital that pays more attention to its doctors often have
a more successful future in the healthcare industry.
This paper will investigate how to make hospital environments more attractive to doctors
through several distinct types of research, including a literature review, a questionnaire, a case study, and an interview. Also, the author of this study analyzes this data to reach a conclusion that
would suggest the Chinese hospital needs to redesign its environment and recommends how
hospitals can adjust their environment and provide Chinese doctors with a better working area."
