Abstract:
"Paper-cuts in different regions of China have their own characteristics and patterns. However, this article does not intend to delve into
their respective characteristics and distinction. This book explores how to use modern CGI technology to achieve the hollowing out and
multi-layer effect of traditional Chinese Paper-cut art. As a result, the aesthetics of traditional Paper-cut can be revived in another new
visual art. This book is divided into two parts. The first part embraces Paper-cut’s development within the historical process and analyzes
the feature of traditional Chinese Paper-cut; the second part records the production process of my experimental project. I will explain the
entire pipeline and document some significant technique."
