Abstract:
"The development of information and digital technology has brought a revolution to the
visual arts. Motion Illustrations are one of the products of this revolution. It is present in many
areas of life, such as advertising, e-magazines, animation emoticons and so on. It enriches
people's visual experience, and at the same time, it brings confusion as to: how to define Motion
Illustration? Where is the boundary with other types of visual arts? What are their own
characteristics? What are the existing areas of application? What is the future potential of its
development? This paper will research Motion Illustration, analyze its characteristics, find its boundaries, summarize its history and market applications, and try to answer the above questions."
