Abstract:
"Despite the growing popularity of the health wellness movement and availability of health
products, obesity persists in all demographics. The desire and knowledge to eat a clean and
healthy diet does not appear to be enough to change people’s long-term unhealthy eating habits.
In this study, research has been conducted in order to understand how the physical environment
in response to behavior economics, psychology, and service can affect shoppers’ decisions, and
to identify whether or not interior design has the power to positively influence the decision
making process of grocery store users by minimizing the obstacles to living a healthy life."
