Abstract:
"This thesis focuses on how to use 3D storyboard as a guide for stereo 3D filmmaking in order to enhance shot composition in 3D space and storytelling for animated films. The purpose of the thesis is to provide a comprehensible explanation of the development and process involved in the thesis visual component, as well as introducing the workflow and methods used in the creation of the visual component."
Abstract:
Includes short animated film "Prologue". Uses "3D storyboards to determine the composition of some of key movements of the film." The film tells the story of Philip, who lives on a cold planet where all the creatures live like zombies. But Philip is a special one: he has consciousness. One day, when all the creatures are walking away to destroy themselves, Philip realizes there is something wrong with that world and decides to escape from the planet.--Paraphrased from thesis text.
