Abstract:
This thesis addresses the reading transition middle school students’ face between more narrative based texts to informational textbooks. The sudden change can be a challenge for many students. This thesis talks about educational comics and their ability to help transition students into textbook reading. By looking at some existing educational comics and textbooks this thesis examines the best ways to use and create educational comics to aid middle school students.
