Abstract:
This thesis chronicles the development of the website to promote my fantasy world, known as
Felrusia. The direction of the world is compared to the stylistic influences of four films, including The Mask of Zorro, The Three Musketeers, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and The Chronicles of
Narnia: Prince Caspian, as well as the Broadway musical Wicked. The sources are analyzed on the
level of both technical production and critical success, their insights interpreted as guiding primarily
the atmosphere and characterization in addition to the visual aspects of Felrusia. It is concluded that
“Lost Prophets” represents an ongoing project and that further funding and continuing work with the
artistic team as well as the nurturing of artistic inspiration will be paramount to its ultimate success and realization.
