Abstract:
This paper goes through the thinking process of facilitating technical problem solving in Maya. Presenting Reach short film as an example for some of the challenges that filmmakers face during a film making process. Solving technical problems in this paper is through Maya only. Many film makers want their ideas to be presented on screen. A lot of time film makers compromise and even change their ideas due to facing technical challenges during their film making process. This paper shows the thinking process in facing technical challenges during the making of an animated 3-D film, with simplicity. The thinking process is inspired by the process of critical thinking.
