Abstract:
This thesis will focus on research of the facial movements and structure. Facial movements reveal a great deal of information when fully understood. Multiple scientists have already led the way with creating tools and catalogs of the various movements involved in creating expressions. The information from these catalogs can provide a great source of information for riggers, animators, and many more. As the face is commonly left bare in auto rigs, it's the goal of the thesis to create a viable auto rig option using the scientist's research.
