Abstract:
The focus of this thesis is the multitude of people who call Savannah, Ga. home. They come
from different backgrounds and have different interests, but they are a part of a community that
embraces diversity. Some have left Savannah only to return years later. Others have created new
homes within the Hostess City’s welcoming arms. These are their stories of sacrifice and family.
