Abstract:
This thesis focuses on designing a sensory oriented art center for visually impaired artists. Not only the center will
provide a space for visually impaired artists to create their artwork in, but also educate visitors of the center about visually
impaired artists and how being visually impaired do not create a barrier between them and what they dream of. Furthermore,
the center will be designed in such a way that helps the visually impaired artists to be able to navigate through the building
without any trouble by the use of different lighting, textures, and materials, visually impaired artists will be able to determine
the space that they are in within the building.
