Abstract:
The project that I have set forth to design is an
adaptive reuse design of an old steel mill building
located in Youngstown Ohio. I want to explore
different programs and functions that could
reside in these great workspaces and show that
with some redesign work they can be functional
again and have a second life. Since these buildings
take up considerable amount of city space and
are generally located near waterways they could
serve as locations for recreation sites or have
some connection to outdoors.
