Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the idea of filmmaking as a collaboration of many ideas and talents
combined to create one vision. I will explore the concept of auteurism in cinema and its
contradictory nature within the constructs of the collaborative characteristics of creating a movie
and how it relates to my thesis film, Reel Tradition.
