Van Horn, Erica
Description:
Erica Van Horn's delicate little book is a visual study of an antique box of silkworm eggs. The book's cover presents the box's cover, decorated with an ornate border and punctured with tiny ventilation holes. The book's interior pages provide a glimpse into the box's interior, and the last page gives a sense of the box as an object made out of paper to transport and protect hundreds of tiny little lives. Pamphlet published in edition of 175 copies, numbered.
