Red paper with fragments of quote (in Arabic) from Kant's Critique of Pure Reason pasted to gray paper. Stitched in red silk thread, with trailing ends; bound accordion-style in covers of black-and-gray houndstooth-print fabric over pasteboard. Housed in a hand-made, balsa wood case. Created for the "An Inventory of Al-Mutanabbi Street" project to commemorate the 2007 car bombing on al-Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad, which was the heart and soul of the Baghdad literary and intellectual community. Issued in an edition of 300, signed and numbered by the author.
