The Tree was awarded Second Place in the 3rd Annual Juried Student Artist's Book Competition. This book was created by SCAD Graphic Design graduate student David Short in Professor Cynthia Lollis' letterpress course at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. The book consists of a double layered star accordion that folds into a tree shape. Cutouts direct the viewer's eye to images on the back layer, while the text is on the front layer.
