The books were printed on either Somerset Satin or Rives Heavyweight, white or creme. The hard covers were made with Davey board and Japanese bookcloth from Hiromi, while the soft covers were leather or paper (Rives BFK or Somerset Satin). Housed in a bamboo tea caddy. Creators: Alana Gonzales, Amelia Abramson, Michael Rees, Jacky Tran, Erin Sullivan, Madeline Helland, Joe Sinopoli, Rachael Hamilton. Typefaces used (with printer's name): Alana Gonzales: Centaur, Arrighi ; Amelia Abramson: Arrighi, Ehrhardt Italic ; Michael Rees: Centaur, Arrighi ; Jacky Tran: Gill Sans ; Erin Sullivan: Garamond ; Madeline Helland: Arrighi ; Joe Sinopoli: Fournier ; Rachael Hamilton: Caslon Oldstyle. Introduction: "For the last book edition overseen by Prof. Maryatt in the collaborative series started in 1986, we decided to examine the book as an icon. We looked at significant developments in 650 years of printing history using primary sources ... The result is a small library showcasing the continuing importance of the book."
