His role as Pontifex Maximus allowed him to live in the Regia, a house on the Forum Romanum which had once been the palace of the Roman kings. The caption indicates it was near the Temple of Peace which was built by Vespasian, and dedicated in 75 AD. The temple was located next to the Roman Forum.

One source indicates that the Temple of Peace is on the south side of the Via Sacra and just beyond are the remains of the Regia, the official seat of the Pontifex Maximus.
