Title:
Just The Thing
Creator:
Walker, A. B. (Alanson Burton), 1878-1947
Description:
Quarter page cartoon. In 1908, it was discovered that in spite of the flood of moral outrage at Eugene Walter's The Easiest Way, the show was a financial success. After that, it was believed that a little scandal sold tickets. Life magazine covers were on a variety of topics. Each issue had a theme that was introduced by the cover and reflected throughout the issue. This is the "School Number."
