Abstract: 
This thesis is to create sustainable affordable housing for low-income families in Hitch Village/Fred Wessel by incorporating amenities that will attract an mulit-income population to occupy the community. By using environmental psychology to design a master plan community for lowincome housing architects can incorporate design elements that will encourage the residents of the community to appreciate their home and the property around it.
