Abstract:

Creative problem solving is being recognized as an effective method amongst an
increasingly diverse community. Businesses and scientists are adopting this more
flexible, more collaborative, more intuitive, and more emotional approach to their
work because it is yeilding better results. This thesis investigates the psychology
of creativity and implements creative stimuli using architecture as the medium.
Focusing on floatation and mobility as a pragmatic approach, the framework for
creative stimulation is filtered through the lens of marine architecture.
