"This thesis looks at 2D rigging and proposes a new workflow to optimize and speed up the preproduction stage while retaining complex, high-quality features. In this proposal, a new workflow was designed for rigging, I will define workflow while recognizing the history of puppet animation, understanding the difficulties in 2D animation and puppet animation, its complex rigs, and the pros and cons of these rigs." -- Abstract
