Abstract:

This thesis will explore how individuals who identify as members of a marginalized community connect more with television shows that promote inclusivity and healthy social dynamics. This thesis will show that television shows that use unique and diverse methods to reach more than one type of person will attract a broader audience, which guarantees the success of my television pilot Set My Soul on Fire.
