"In recent years, as a relatively successful emerging technology, the incorporation of 2D animation and with animation has gradually expanded its scope of market, attracting numerous audiences. The combination of 2D and 3D technology is not only the product of scientific and technological progress, but also effectively promotes the development of the animation industry and enriches animation effects. By analyzing the current development of 2D and 3D animation and combining with the research of my own works, this thesis paper expounds upon the technical complementary and advantages of 2D animation and 3D animation. Also discusses the approach of the integration of 2D animation and 3D technology." --Abstract
