Abstract:
"This thesis explores how by embracing the basic principles of improv, using Meisner's Word Repetition Game, Stanislavski's Magic If, and Dudley Knight's Knight-Thompson Speechwork, I 'followed the fear' and learned to live in the magic of long form improvisation with the all-women improv ensemble All About Eve. By examining my journey, this thesis takes a closer look at building the character, the game, as well as the bond within the ensemble." --Abstract
