Abstract:
|
"This thesis focuses on translating my point of view on current social issues regarding women into a modern dance production. I will discuss the process of conceiving and choreographing a dance piece that centers on diverse perspectives regarding women in America, and explore the production’s conception, planning, research, rehearsal, technique, and final performance. Furthermore, this thesis will elucidate specific challenges I faced, such as trust, collaboration, and rehearsal discoveries."
