This thesis focuses on the unique impact of digitalism and the information age upon
storytelling of the twenty-first century. Utilizing the web series Slide to Unlock as a lens this
thesis helps one to understand how digitalism has influenced such generational instincts as
identity, relationships, gender, and the ways in which stories are structured and consumed.
