This thesis focuses on questioning if a non-traditional ending can be successful in Hollywood. It
breaks down the definition of both traditional and non-traditional endings along with
categorizing the different types. It gives examples of successful non-traditional endings. This thesis aims to describe how in Hollywood you do not need a happy ending to be successful.
